So if you read one of the first posts I put up when I started this blog, you’ll know that I love ( cough) the student accommodation that I’m currently living at 
. Yes, just the other day I got the following email:
Dear M residents,
We have a big Sunday coming up!!
Come play touch footy in the afternoon and show the other colleges what we’re made of.
We have both female and male teams so girls you can come along too.
Come and cheer us on, we will meet at Eastside mailboxes at 1.30pm and walk down to the fields at the end of C Rd together.
In the evening we are showing MAD MAX – Beyond the Thunder Dome at 8pm
Come enjoy the outdoor cinema experience – popcorn included!
DID YOU HEAR THAT GIRLS???? YOU CAN COME ALONG TOO. We remembered that you exist and that you can play sport also! You should be grateful that we thought of you- never mind that you were an afterthought! And never mind that we infantalised you!
As you can probably tell, this is exactly how I am going to spend my day tomorrow!
